Therapeutic Massage
In general, massage can be utilized to relieve muscle and joint tension, poor circulation, fatigue, and alleviate some symptoms of depression. It also offers stimulation of the immune system, allowing your body to assist in its own healing process.
Our therapists curate a personalized treatment with each visit. Your massage may contain a range of techniques to achieve the best results for that session. Therapeutic massage is designed to unwind the connective tissue or fascia just below surface muscles. We often employ advanced techniques, facilitate stretching, use hot stones, aroma therapy and hot towels. When necessary, deep tissue massage techniques are delivered with sustained pressure on active “trigger points” or centers of inflamed tissue. This is often recommended for individuals who experience consistent pain, repetitive-use issues or are involved in heavy physical activity (such as athletes), or those who have sustained physical injury.
Through the intake process, you and your therapist will determine the best course of action for your treatment plan.

Hot Stone Massage
Hot stone massage utilizes heated, smooth basalt stones to apply direct pressure and penetrate deeply into muscle tissues. Stones may be placed on certain centers of the body to promote relaxation and “melt away” stress and tension. The stones are coated in oil to move in coordination through major muscle groups and coax you into calm, relaxed state.
Hot Stone Massage cannot be used on those who are pregnant or those who have certain medical conditions. If you have questions please reach us before booking your appointment.

Foot Reflexology
Reflexology is an alternative medicine involving the physical act of applying pressure to the feet with specific thumb, finger, and hand techniques without the use of oil or lotion. It is based on what reflexologists claim to be a system of zones and reflex areas that they say reflect an image of the body on the feet and hands, with the premise that such work effects a physical change to the body.

Oncology Massage
The modification of existing massage therapy techniques in order to safely work with complications of cancer and its treatments. For those who have ever received cancer treatment, those in active treatment, or in recovery/remission. *Note* Please call to book this service. There is a 15-20 minute verbal intake with your therapist to ensure your unique situation has no reasons for massage to be contraindicated.
